BadaChing has an open plugin architecture that was designed to extend the import functionality from contributions by the community. Outside of standard and well-known file types, it is not possible for BadaChing to natively implement all the different statement or transaction file types made available by banks or credit unions all over.

Getting Started

Get the two Nuget packages that provide the abstractions and base classes:

• Badaching.Extensions.Plugins.Abstractions
• Badaching.Extensions.Plugins

After you've coded up your plugin and tested it, you can add it into your local BadaChing app by going to Settings and clicking the Open Application Folder button. This folder contains a few things, one of which is a Plugins folder. Drop your DLL into this location and restart the app.

Once you're happy that it works well enough, reach out to us at badaching at helloserve dot com. We will review it and add it to the official list of BadaChing Plugins or add it to a listing here on the website for people to browse, both with full attribution.
